Eorann is a Solicitor at Luqmani Thompson & Partners and has been with the firm since September 2017. She is dedicated to promoting proper access to justice on behalf of clients, rigorously challenging the justice system to contest for fair and successful outcomes.
Eorann manages her own caseload under supervision. In addition to assisting partners on immigration, asylum and nationality law matters, including applications and appeals relating to human rights, her work covers domestic violence, asylum law, EEA law and the Immigration Rules. She is also engaged in public law challenges involving clients subject to local authority transfers. Eorann is passionate about defending the rights of vulnerable clients including young people. She has built up experience working with unaccompanied asylum seeking children, guiding them through the asylum application process and representing them at Home Office interviews. Eorann hopes to expand her caseload to include the complexities of criminal conduct issues within the immigration context and hopes to focus her skills on matters involving criminal deportation and unlawful detention.
Eorann holds a Classics degree from King’s College, University of Cambridge, and completed her postgraduate law studies at the University of Law. At Cambridge she was awarded the Walter Headlam prize for best Classics dissertation by a finalist, the Jasper Ridley prize for devotion to Greek literature and music, and a choral exhibition for King’s Voices with whom she toured Europe. Prior to joining LTP, Eorann worked as a paralegal in a media and entertainment firm on intellectual property disputes, phone hacking litigation and cross-border fraud.
Eorann is available to take on both private and legal aid funded matters in the full range of immigration applications. She is accredited as a Level 2 Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
