Theo joined Luqmani Thompson & Partners as a paralegal in June 2018 following the completion of his legal studies. He will be commencing pupillage at Lamb Building chambers in October 2019, with a view to practising as a barrister specialising in immigration and asylum law. During his time as a law student, Theo gained considerable practical experience of legal work by volunteering with a range of legal charities, including Haringey Migrant Support Centre, the Free Representation Unit, Kensington and Chelsea CAB, and the National Centre for Domestic Violence.
In 2016 he was awarded a Queen Mother scholarship by Middle Temple to undertake the Bar Professional Training Course.
Theo’s background is in music, and he spent a number of years directing choirs and orchestras before deciding to embark on a legal career.
